While publishing beautiful food photos is undoubtedly a core function of any culinary blog, I sensed there was a deeper, more personal narrative at play—a story that transcended mere online content creation and engagement metrics.

As I delved further into this introspection, I allowed myself to truly immerse in the concept of food photos, not just as perfect, stylized shots akin to those meticulously crafted by blogs like Cannelle et Vanille or A Beautiful Day. Instead, my thoughts drifted to the raw, unpolished images that populate my personal gallery: quick snaps taken just before Juan and I, stomachs grumbling with hunger, eagerly dig into our meal; or spontaneous shots capturing the small, charming imperfection of freshly boiled soup spilling slightly onto the table, bathed in the bright, sometimes overly harsh, glow of kitchen lights.
